76th Anniversary Celebration

Our guest speaker for our celebration on

September 29, 2024, during morning worship

service is Mayor Jeffrey J. Mims, Jr

Mayor Jeffrey J. Mims Jr. was elected

November 2, 2021, for the City of

Dayton after serving two terms on the

city commission.

He graduated from Central State University

in 1973, and received his Master of

Science degree in Education from Wright

State University in 1975.

He is a National Education Association

Human Relations Awardee, a Dayton Top Ten African American Male, and an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority "Strength and Perseverance" awardee. He is a Vietnam veteran, and a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

He has two children and three grandchildren.

Join us on October 26, 2024, starting at 2 p.m. for a day of fun in the yard. As long as the weather permits, we will be out in the yard playing games, eating some food, enjoying each other's company, having a Gospel Jam, and more.
